That's really good; my official ASC is 28LIB22', and I definitely am close to the middle between a lot of those. I tend to be more mediator than judge, though usually I feel kind of forced into that position. Often I feel like I would rather judge, though at the same time I feel like I'm not allowed to or "shouldn't", and yet part of me resents being under that stipulation. Definitely a loner given my druthers, though I feel like I'm good at being inclusive if necessary. I'm socially awkward - never felt much social grace at all - and have always seen the social realm as power-dynamics. I *love* dark colors and am usually wearing at least some black, even in the summer. Survivalism, don't even get me started on that one! I don't really see myself as charming, but I'm probably overly passionate at times.

I can definitely see those last couple degrees rising as a sort of emergence of the next sign's qualities.

What a great list of choices! I am indecisive - Libra - but sometimes very decisive. Here goes:

Mediator
See both sides, also see through bs
Loner but am energized by human interaction, even when I don't think I want or need it
Love dark colors, black, dark violet, and magenta
Common ground when it comes to others, push boundaries on in-depth spiritual or psychological issues especially when having to do with self
Haha - like to think I'm charming most of the time, passionate about things that matter
Deep emotional intimacy - expressed when felt

My husbands rising is unsure - thinking maybe Virgo or Scorpio. It definitely makes it hard to cast a chart. His birth cert doesn't have the time, and his mother says it was late... late as in 10 -11 pm, or 12 -1 am? Frustrating. Thanks again for the insight. I really had to think about those!!

Oh another thing to thing about is looking at your family of origin. Often Signs are repeated... Is there Scorpio Asc Sun or Moons in your bio family???

Also I heard once that often the rising of one child determines the sun of the next child...It works for my family but it isnt always correct...
My eldest brother is a Taurus/Aries Rising Next was Sister Aries/Scorpio? rising next is Sag/Cancer rising and then me Cancer/Taurus rising...

Talk about synchronicity - I have been interested in this very subject recently. I noticed that my first born has a Scorpio moon, and my second is Scorpio rising so that makes me think I must indeed be Scorpio rising. I would love to see some research in this area - maternal sun/moon/ascendant and the placements in their offspring's charts. There must be a correlation there. I'm sure there is some material out there, it will probably just take me a little longer to read up on it. I'm still trying to figure out how I became a stay at home mom of a two small children...lol.
