Does anyone have experience how a tight (Virgo RETRO) Mars - (Pisces) Saturn opposition would play out in a man´s chart? Does it make the native shy, passive and blocked? How about self-esteem? The rest of planets are in Aries, including Sun.

The slower moving planet is always the key, in this case that's most likely the virgo-mars. This has more in common with Saturn in Aries/Scorpio (mars' signs) then Mars in Capricorn/Aquarius (saturns' signs).
