I like where he says:
This is a time to be safety conscious, to get a grip on the animal spirits within and channel them productively rather than letting them loose on anyone who gets your goat. If people are cranky, if you’re short tempered too, realize that this is just the nature of the time/space field for now, and do your best to ride it out with as little drama and damage as possible.
Because I connect it to Year of the Tiger. I read that this will be a year where brute strength wins out over brains....but we could view that as a battle within to look out for. That would probably be a better way to see it, try to be measured, be subdued in the face of others potentially freaking. Someone shot and killed someone for complaining about being bumped into outside a nightclub yesterday on the east coast...Open conflict can maybe go over the top this year.
What's the typical M.O. for dealing with t-squares? anyone? (Guess that's my cue to turn to my bookcase and pick up How to Handle Your T-Square, lol. But I don't remember what it says or maybe it doesn't apply to transiting ones.) Maybe we can start a separate thread for that ...maybe I will in a few days.

I am not exactly focused on June.
It is all three summer months, June, July and August. That last week of July and first week of August is very tense along with the rest of the month.
Here's what I'm telling friends...."If you want to buy a house or a business...wait until fall of 2010. Wait until this effin' summer is over."
But of course the tension is all year. We have one more round of Uranus/Saturn Oppose in Pisces/Virgo in Arpil (probably another round of the health care stuff)...which will give us more tension and then everything starts to line up.
No one can overstate these aspects.
I just posted Richard Nolle's article on my blog.
Here's the link to it.

fwiw: I am Sag, pretty optimistic, pretty 'glass is half full" person. I have a small son and when you have a kid, you kind of have to have hope about the future. That is my nature.....having said all that... These aspects are shit. If any of us get through them without a black eye I will be shocked. Let's put it this way one day I said to my husband, "I wouldn't be surprised if there was a landslide in La Palma that sent the whole eastern seaboard looking for shelter." That kind of thing....
Some great stuff coming out in this thread. I totally agree with the quote from Tracy above. June, July, August - this is going to be the peak of this whole crisis thing...."wait unitl this effin' summer is over" .... my Sag rising loves that comment. I've been delaying my partner about moving in and buying our own place with a 'let's live together for a few months and see how things go' tactic.
I got clued onto the themes of what we are going through about 3 years ago when I read Cosmos and Psyche by Richard Tarnas - there is no better book to read to get an understanding of how these outer planet transits and aspect patterns shape world events.

I'm surprised at how many astrology blogs writing on the matter haven't focused on the T-square of Pluto/Uranus/Saturn as much as writing about the individual aspects in the pattern. Tarnas's research found that an orb of 15 degrees is pretty much the operative orb. If you go back to the first crash in September 2008 this is when these three planets had locked into a 15 degree orb pattern. The stimulus was debated into law during the Jupiter (excess) in Capricorn trine to Saturn in Virgo.
Saturn went retrograde just the last week I think, and as you can see more problems have started to appear - notably with the situation in Greece and the PIGS nations too. Not to mention the situation in the UK as well as Japan where I am located. Frankly I don't think the stimulus has worked at all - it was just to buy time before the real crash hits home. The system cannot be so easily fixed and that what Pluto in Capricorn is saying. Anyway, Saturn retrograde into Virgo where the crisis and stimulus started will answer that question.
Historically, it is relevant to point out that the great depression of 1929 also happened with the last Saturn/Uranus/Pluto T-square in the cardinal signs too - Pluto-Cancer; Saturn-Capricorn and Uranus-Aries. As they say 'history repeats itself' because the nature of time is related to planetary cycles.
As for economy cycles, someone commented about the cycle of Saturn (contraction) and Jupiter (expansion). It is always useful to go back to the conjunct that defines the beginning of the cycle - the last conjunct of Saturn and Jupiter was in June 2000 but square Uranus from Aquarius. Taurus rules banks, the stock exchange, money and square Uranus indicates a cycle to be defined by shocks, the unexpected and crisis. This is also a crisis about our values (Taurus) and how we value things and a powerful Uranus in its own sign at the time saying, "Hey, I want something new and radical here that is fair to everyone."
A very notable chart is for around July 30 this year when Mars will team up with Saturn in 0'degrees Libra opposing Jupiter/Uranus and the Moon entering Aries. The Sun in fiery Leo will trine these. The T-square will actually become a Grand Cross around this period too with the North Node closing in on Pluto.

Thanks for the insights zephyrus and nice to meet you. ![]()
So much of this hits on my Chiron and I'm not sure what to make of it, but by that time I'll be clawing at the walls wanting to get away from the bubblicious Pisces energy and as I said somewhere up there, may be happy with an Aries influx. "Thinking positive" is one thing, never addressing problems and shuttering away the people who bring us to the edge of a problem so we can start excavating / dealing with it is another. It seems that we've added a financial bubble and a psychology bubble to the original housing bubble .. and the nature of a bubble, though it feels good to float in the middle, is to pop. Personally I'm tired of supporting those people who think it's their reality to float in the middle of that bubble. Who's supporting them / what's supporting them? Do WE feel good supporting them?
And the situation with Greece and probably some others .. the U.S. business schools let loose a pack of piranha on the world .. they should totally be sued.

From late 2009 through till 2017 there area whole series of T-squares involving the outer planets - with a number of Grand Crosses - for instance 10 days from 18th June 2010, June/July 2011, January 2014. The last occasion there was such a long period of T-squares started in 1929 and lasted through the 1930s, which was the period of worldwide economic depression, and the rise of fascism.
One of my favourite sayings is that of the US philosopher George Santayana: "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it" - and I think study of the cycles of the planets, in personal and political life, give the opportunity to learn from and avoid the mistakes of history.
