I'm afraid you're a couple of years earlier than me, but I see you've got it coming up very soon.  Feel anything yet? What can I expect?

Re: uranus opposite pluto

This is something I’m curious about too (another oldie, here).

I will have T Uranus exactly opposite N. Pluto in September– actually undergoing it now (2 degrees).  N Pluto in 12th, T Uranus cusp of 6th.  T, Uranus is also conjunct my natal Chiron so it's triggering some kind of "wounded-healing" connected with power issues?  I've been dealing with a situation for a long time where I haven't been using my power, and am hoping for lucky break.

I’m simultaneously undergoing transiting Pluto trine natal Uranus – So I’m getting a double-whammy.   I have to admit it’s scary - these two will probably bring some radical (but hopefully creative) transformations into my life.  From what I’ve read this combo of planets will involve a breaking down of something, especially restrictions.

Given it’s my 6th/12, I’m hoping it’s not health-related.  Saturn is also transiting my Sun.  In that respect this combo has me worried.

However, I’m really hoping rather it will be job related, particularly a new and very different job (rather than, say, getting fired! Saturn is in my 10th).

If I get the job that I really want, it will be starting in September when this transit hits exactly. At that point Jupiter will be in my first house, having just passed a conjunction with my ascendant.  I’m trying to look at how the other transits fit in to see how this Uranus/Pluto thing may play out.

Am I being foolishly optimistic here?

Also: the next new moon (Feb.20) will be exactly on t. Uranus, setting off my Pluto-Chiron opposition, so I’m thinking that might trigger something.  What, I don’t know…

Re: uranus opposite pluto

Hello
My good friend is experiencing:

t.Neptune conjunct his Sun
t.Uranus opposing his Pluto
t.Pluto conjunct his Saturn

Lets say he is doing some restructuring inside and out and he is feeling a little stunned and has a bad cold right now... I think too much is going on inside him right now that he doesn't know what to do or how to identify how he is feeling.

we will see how it unravels for him...

Re: uranus opposite pluto

I'm in the middle of this one too, much like Cairn's friend:

t:neptune: just coming off my :moon:
t:uranus: exactly opposite my :pluto:
t:pluto: just coming off my :saturn:

For me, it takes me a while to figure what was going on during outer planet transits, and obviously, these aren't done for me yet.

:uranus: is usually the easiest for me to get a handle on, but as he's fooling around with :pluto: it might take me a bit.  As :uranus: has just entered my 5th house, it may very likely have something to do with my children.  My eldest just turned 15...

yikes

Given it’s my 6th/12, I’m hoping it’s not health-related. Saturn is also transiting my Sun. In that respect this combo has me worried.

Interestingly, I have the same 6th/12th axis.  The difference is my pluto is in the 6th.

I can give you a little hint about that energy.....

My pluto is in the 6th and I know that if you dig out the old time fire and brimstone astrology books you will see some astrologers make a case for health isssue.  I have not been that case.  What did happen was when I was growing up, my mother who was a single mom didn't  have much interest or time in me being sick. So, she pretty much set the tone: "you're not sick."  Even when, I probably was... if you know what I mean.   So, from the earliest of times there was 'power' issues over illness.  In this case, I was indoctrinated not to give power TO sickness.  As much as a bitch that she was and as much as it was done for reasons that may have not always been in my best interest, I will say this...I'm grateful that I was not raised to give power over to illness.  There, Universe, I've thanked my mother. (sort of)..
Anyway, I think because of that particular background I think it has played a part in this uranus opposition.  I think and I really put the emphasis on 'think'... that my background and personality have told uranus..."don't dick around with health, I'm not playing."    Just a thought.

but, there has been a 12-6th influence.  Definitely.

I was not paying attention to the transits so I wasn't monitoring but now looking back I see that I had the exact aspect in November, I'm in now and I'll have it exact again later in November of this year.
And here is how it seems to be coming up.
Charity!
This November, I started a charity drive on one of my other web communities.  (how very Uranus).  I organized and produced a giving tree for moms who were in need.  I was unbelievable compelled to post this message....
"ARe there any moms here who are afraid they won't have any gifts for their children this christmas and need help?"
This thought rolled around in my head for about a week. And I was hesitant to post it because I feared (12th) that it might be a huge wave that I wouldn't be able to handle.   But i couldn't shake it. I knew I had to do it.  And then, I remember it well, it was the day before thanksgiving and I posted it.
And that was it. It was like turning the day they turned on the water at Hoover Dam.   I personally donated not a huge amount of money, but what I did was organize all the other moms who wanted to help and funnel them to the right moms and more needy moms came on board and I had to constantly monitor the forum and find more helper moms for the new needy moms.. and to make a very long story short... it turned into 35 needy moms and about 200  helper moms.
and what went nuts? ---- MY SCHEDULE!!
How 6th house Pluto in Virgo!
It became like a second job.  I was working on my own job, and during my job I would check the forum constantly and when I got home I would have to go online and stay with my charity thread and I would literally be up until 1am on many days.  IT WAS LIKE MY SCHEDULE WAS A STEAMING LOCOMOTIVE and I had no control of it. I just had to ride it.  But I got another mom to help me... (she organized the donated clothes and toys) I just organized the money (again, how pluto).
And when it was all said and done each needy mom got about $150 US dollars in gift certificates and about 3 boxes each of gently used toys and clothes.

What took the hit?  My husband and son.  But I put a limit on it and it slowly wrapped up but really it was one month from beginning to end and with two weeks of intense.

Now mind you, I wasn't looking at transits. And my husband said, "What on Earth made you start this thing?"
I said, "I don't know, I was compelled. I couldn't stop myself."

Now I know. Uranus in Pisces in the 12th house. Oppose Pluto in Virgo in the 6th.

Internet forum (uranus), charity ( pisces), fear of the unknown aka 'how will I do it?" 12th house..... compelled (pluto), productive and practical (virgo) and a hideous schedule (6th) house.

So, then cut to this week.  I once again, felt compelled to pull some clothes together for another internet mommy who's house caught on fire and she lost everythign. The problem is she has a daughter and I have a son so I didn't have the right clothes. I called my friend last week asked her to get some of her daughter's clothes together. I drove to her work early in the morning, got the clothes, brought them home, ironed them boxed them and shipped them.
Again, why?
Well, that's when I said, "What the F is going on with my chart?"
And I saw the uranus oppose pluto...  and bingo...
I saw the pattern.

In the meantime...and it is worth noting... I am also working on other projects that will hopefully bring in money.  And I probably should use every extra moment on them. But I just can't. I have to split the time.
I feel like this is the uranus/pluto tug...

I don't know if this is the only way it is going to play out this  year...... And for all intents and purposes I'm under it for the whole year..
I'm  hoping my schedule will improve and my other projects will get off the ground and I will temper some of the charitylike stuff..but I do think it plays a part....

Okay, this way too long of a posting.  but you get the idea....

Re: uranus opposite pluto

shoot I forgot.....

the thing I wanted to make sure and say was that I believe because Uranus is in pisces and it is in my 12th... that I'm not sure any of the activities that get energized will ever feel a hundred percent correct.  Meaning I think I will naturally always wonder "am I using this energy best?"
I just think with pisces/12th there is a natural unknowing but still a trust of "I am not sure but I'm just going to have to trust it."
and that is probably the biggest hurdle of the opposition to pluto for me.

Wow, Trabot, thanks for posting that.  It is both helpful and very, very inspirational.  I hope I can put the opposition to such good use.

From an outsider's perspective, I have to say "yes, you ARE using this energy the right way".  You are racking up some damn fine karma there.

Re: uranus opposite pluto

thank you very much, Water Lily.  I hope you are right.

So, I was thinking about it and I don't even know if anyone is still looking at this thread.

But since Aquarius New Moon I have had the MOST and I mean MOST aquarian cycle that I can remember.   Very social. Very unusual activities. Random acts. Weird encounters.  A lot of INternet time.   Just all very aquarian.
I think I might be feeling more aquarian than usual is because of transiting Uranus in my 12th.
and this Pluto Oppose Uranus.

Yesterday a water pipe broke and grey water was going outside. UGHHHH.  It was repaired but a bush had to be pulled up. So, today my husband and I were searching for a bench to put out front which we could put potted plants.
We went into a shop and I ran into someone I haven't seen in years. He invited me to a party next weekend. Then we left there to pick up some coffed in the shop near the shop. And that is when a woman came up to me and said, "I know you." And I recognized her and we spoke.  WE both had a mutual friend about 15 years ago whom we both had a huge blow up with and we took a minute to catch up and of course discuss briefly  how nuts that other friend was.. something aquarian about that.
Anyway, I'm just wondering if the Uranus really comes out in full when it has pluto dicking around with it..kwim?

Re: uranus opposite pluto

Hey guys, thanks so much for this thread. And I am also in the age bracket to have transiting Uranus opp Pluto in 3rd house Virgo, and transiting Pluto not only conjuncting my natal 7th house saturn-moon conjunct, but trining my natal 3rd house Uranus(leo). What can I say. My life is interesting. I am finding that the pluto energy leads me to question very deeply my core responses and figure them out, even though I feel compulsions, especially in relationships, that I struggle to understand. In the last year I have changed jobs, changed towns, and will be moving house again at the end of this month. And my relationship of 2 years has changed shape into something else entirely. I kind of feel in the grip of big things, and am going with it without too much resistance, just trying to figure out the layers beneath the layers until I find the essential. There is sometimes an overwhelming feeling of sadness which I think is triggered by the Pluto transiting the saturnmoon thing (I was widowed at 29 - no surprise considering the chart) and activating left over unresolved issues around relationships and loss, togetherness and aloneness, and all of those complex ambiguities. The more I am getting into this transit, the more I feel able to cope with it. I think Pluto has a hugely healing influence in that way, especially if we let it do its work wothout trying to resist where it takes us. As for the Uranus opp Pluto - I don't know. I guess the changes in job/work/town is part of that, and there have been some very hectic ugly things (friends and me in accident, fallouts, daughter had abortion, son is having tough times too), but amazingly the aftermath of each episode has brought about amazing healing and insight. Interesting..... and I guess its not going to be over for a while??

Re: uranus opposite pluto

Count me in!

Like some of you, I also have Pluto trining N Uranus at the same time.  I have this deal:

--N Uranus conj Sun 21 Leo 1st house, with  T Pluto in 5th trining Uranus/Sun at the same time

--N Pluto conj Venus 5 Virgo, 6 Virgo 1st house, with T Uranus in 7th opposing Pluto/Venus at the same time

I just said everything in my other post in the "Uranus trine Pluto" thread.  But anyway here it is in a nutshell:

I'm in one of those rock-polishing machines.  I'm getting all my unneccessary dirt and old baggage slowly sloughed away, and I'm looking forward to getting whatever gem is left of me afterwards.  You know, those rock tumblers where you put rough stones in a cannister,  and you put the cannister in this machine that turns it round and round.  It rolls me around and around while grinding away at me with sharp sand and water.  Like you say, Trabot, it's a lot of unknowing, a lot of going back and forth in the waves and changing my mind often.  But I trust that after all the crumbling is over, whatever gems happen to come out of this will be totally worth the trouble. smile

Re: uranus opposite pluto

I know this is an old thread, but it's exactly what I was looking for.  Tracy, it seems that we have had some similar transits... just several years apart.

Uranus (5th house) is about to be exactly opposite my Pluto (11th house), with the added complication of Saturn conjunct Pluto.  To make things even more interesting, Pluto is in 29th degree of Virgo in my natal chart ... it makes me curious if there is anything "karmic" about either or both of these transits.  Not to mention they are pretty stressful aspects anyway!  I already feel (and have felt for the majority of the last year) that I am being pulled in opposite directions that must be the results of these two not-so-compatible planets.  I want freedom, spontaneity, adventure and excitement, but I literally feel like I am cemented to the ground.  All I can do is go with it and that is what I'm trying to do.  It's just really hard to shake this restlessness that keeps telling me to get up and go.  I don't even have any clear goals of things I want to do, and if I do they change day to day.  Lots of confusion and lack of focus is probably the best way to put it.  Very similar to my other post about the Saturn transit, but something tells me the two are linked and meant to be interpreted together.

There are some other things going on, like Jupiter trine my natal Sun, that could be the root of my lack of motivation and general laziness.  Actually, I probably have Jupiter to thank for making the Saturn and Uranus transits a little easier to accept.  It's kinda nice to have some easy Jupiter transits to take the edge off of Saturn.  I love the rock tumbler analogy above.  I wish I could sum up the fluctuations I'm experiencing in such a descriptive way.  Hopefully, by the end of this transit I will!

I think it is easier for me to feel the Uranus energy and pinpoint the areas of my life it is affecting, but Saturn is the one that throws me.  It could be my Cancer sun or the fact that Cap/Cancer is intercepted in my chart that make Saturn transits confusing for me.  hmm

Re: uranus opposite pluto

Hello I am glad you pulled up this old thread Calendula I am 2 degrees away from the Uranus/Pluto Opposition and it is the opposite of yours...Will be interesting to compare notes...

I am Pluto 2degrees Libra 5th House Natally and Uranus is 29degrees Virgo (sextile my n.Sun 29Cancer & Trining Asc 29 Taurus) but will be transiting 11th H when opposition occurs...

Uranus sextile to my Asc prob has alot to do with why I chopped my hair from very long and dark dark brown to a bob and blondy...

After a few years of Pluto/Saturn transits, this Uranus energy is making me giddy...lol

I too have to say Spontinaety, fun and CREATIVITY is centerstage for me right now...
I am putting my art as my first priority.  As well as trying new things.

Went on a spontaneous trip to New Orleans!!! So amazing...

Two more degrees before it is exact, lets see what comes out of it...

Re: uranus opposite pluto

I'm in the same boat you guys are!  Except I have the added craziness of Pluto at 1Libra57 being conjunct my IC at 27 Virgo.  So Uranus has been over my MC all this time while Saturn has been going back and forth over my Pluto and IC!

Oh!  Add progressed Mars on my MC and now transiting Jupiter and I'm going stir crazy.  Being born with Mars in Pisces, I really can't wait for Mars to progress into Aries finally.  Maybe I'll get some balls, throw away my feelings of guilt and attachment to my old life, pick up a backpack, and just set out for a life of adventure!

I can relate, Gracehoper; my Mars in Cancer finally ingresses into Leo next year...Can't wait to see how it feels, particularly as I credit progressed ascendants and mine is in Mars-ruled Scorpio...

Re: uranus opposite pluto

Hi there!
Can a real "oldie" join the party ?

I experienced Uranus opp Pluto exact in Jan 2001 and big changes were happening in my life at that time. ( My Pluto is in 11th/12th depending on house system - but seems to work in 12th for me)

My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease and I needed to make provision for her long-term care. I had to decide if I wanted to relocate to be nearer her which would mean wrapping up my business. I had more work than I could cope with and no time to myself, as I was staying weekends with my mother to look after her.

At the same time I had Neptune opp Mars ( in 11th ) so no matter how hard I worked I couldn't seem to get anywhere.

Pluto had just crossed the i/c and was moving through the 4th, so I felt pressured to move house. At the same time it was squaring my Asc conj Venus so there was the need to not only remodel myself but review all my finances.

Oh boy, what an experience !

I can't blame it all on Uranus, I think Pluto had quite a bit of imput as well !

regards

LeoLady

Re: uranus opposite pluto

I think I am in one part of me being swept away by Uranus.
I want to get a new job, new place, new partner, I want to travel... new new new...Experiment with my life and then figure out what I really want?

What used to be about hard work and stability (Saturn Pluto) for the last 20yrs is being challenged by me saying throw caution to the wind and try something new lol...

I was even briefly thinking about packing my back pack and jump on a train...
This is truely a strange new world I am seeing...lol

Re: uranus opposite pluto

So interesting to see this old thread dusted off.

I can tell you now--6 years later while Uranus was opposed my Pluto, it was a huge time.  But I didn't realize it at that moment. I thought I was getting through it as best as I could but now looking back that period had long lasting changes on my daily life (6th).  It also was a period when I got really fat.  I was in a whirl wind of emotions for a couple of years and there was some huge comfort eating!  lordy.  But the bottom line is my Pluto was rocked and I felt cracks and fissures.  And as often as the case, my life is so much richer and productive now years later for that rough period.

but we all know that.

Re: uranus opposite pluto

Uranus is still rocking my Pluto in opposition from the 10th house to my natal Pluto's placement on the IC trine Venus.

ALSO, Neptune is squaring my Venus in Taurus on Algol Star.

ALSO, transiting Pluto and progressed Moon are conjunct in Capricorn in the House of Illness, trining Moon in Virgo, sextiling Mars in Pisces.

It's been a time of intense health gain!  My home situation is rocky, but Mars in Pisces gives me the skills to navigate pretty much any social situation unless it's just pure chaos.  I'm optimistic even though I believe the world is spiraling down into total melt-down.  Why?  THIS IS WHY I HAVE INCARNATED AT THIS TIME!  Best tickets in the Multiverse!
