Will I marry him?
I am venus and moon. I am at my 12th house. It is true that I have him in my mind. Venus is at her home. He is Sun and Saturn. Saturn is at a good position. Moon will trine Saturn. What do you think about?

RE: Will I marry him?
The part of marriage, which might help you with this chart, would be found with the forumula:
Asc + Desc minus Venus. You can assign a 1 - 360 to each placement and then mathematically come to the location of this part. The planet that is the dispositor of this part of marriage signifies "marriage" for the chart. According to John Frawley, in his Horary Textbook, (Pages 120-123) the part will not be helpful for timing. Remember: "Dignity shows power to act Reception shows inclination to act Aspect shows occasion to act" page 176 The Real Astrology by John Frawley. It's very helpful to have all three of these in a chart. I will say that Moon location in the 12th house indicates some weakness that you have at this point in time. Saturn in Libra has dignity, and is in a better house position than Moon. As you have chosen not to note the chart details, and I am on a computer that takes too long to convert your thumbnail into something I can use, that's all the help I can give at this time. Good luck! |

RE: Will I marry him?
Hi Paula - if I did the math correctly, Venus is at 17 Vir 01'. Asc is 6 Can 08'. This puts the Part of Marriage at 25 Lib 17', making the Dispositor Venus, who is 4 Lib 42' (Essential Dignity) and the 4th house according to the thumb img. Does this conclude yes to marriage?

RE: Will I marry him?
In my opinion it could be one point in favor of that outcome. In a question such as this, I would want to look for at least three indicators that marriage would occur. I'd want an aspect with reception between both parties, and some dignity in their significators, to make it short. The part of marriage would be something that would help me tip the scales if I am undecided.
I'm sorry I don't get more involved in the charts lately. My life has been super busy and I just barely visit this forum anymore, touching bases but not really landing. My goal in putting up this forum was to help people learn how to do their own horary charts, and figure out the correct answer themselves. It provides opportunity for folks to do this, and to post the results hopefully, but my job here isn't to give the final answer. Thanks for posting your math and POM placement, though, Israel. I always double check the details when math is involved, too, just to be sure. |

RE: Will I marry him?
Yes, Moon goes to trine Sa, but before that, it square Me, so Me interfere. If that make some sense you will marry, otherwise not. Me is lord of 4 house, so for example if you live together in your flat before marriage then you will marry, otherwise not.

RE: Will I marry him?
Fensi might be thinking that 4th ruler sometimes indicates the "end of the matter" so ruler of 4th shows end of matter.
A planet that aspects a significator before the two significators make their aspect can prevent an outcome from happening. One needs to look at other pertinent chart details to determine the meaning of a prohibition. There are three ways a prohibition can occur, as listed on page 94 of The Horary Textbook. The whole picture is what makes it all come together and make sense. Sometimes the interference can just mean a delay, but it can also mean a change in direction. I'm speaking generally here. I am on the run and not looking at your chart at all to make this post. |

RE: Will I marry him?
That's a very general statement, and in horary what the planet signifies by house rulership trumps a natural rulership, though we still look and consider the natural meaning of the planets.
