reaccuring dream for a month
I keep having this nightmare that im in the woods and everyone around me is dead i keep trying to get out of the woods to get help but i can never get out. I wake up at 3 Am in a cold sweat every time. Ive recently had a very close friend of mine die a little over 3 months ago and i was wondering if that could have anything to do with it. Or if it has to do with me not sharing my feelings with anyone not even my family. Or possibly pent up anger and sadness. Does anyone know what this nightmare is trying to say or what the significance of it is. Please tell me how to stop it or what it means.

reaccuring dream for a month
I looked this up on another website for dream symbols, I thought it might help.
Woods To see the woods in your dream, represents life, fertility, rejuvenation, and spring. Alternatively, it symbolizes the unknown and unconscious. You may be discovering your instinctual nature. To dream that you are walking through the woods, signifies your return to an aspect of yourself that is innocent and spiritual. If you are walking out of the woods, then the dream could be a literal depiction of being "out of the woods" or being in the clear. To dream that you are lost in the woods, indicates that you are starting a new phase in your life. You are expressing some anxiety about leaving behind the familiar and what you know. To see dried up, dying woods in your dream, suggests that there is a situation in your life that has not yet been resolved. You may also be overwhelmed with a problem or issue. Corpse To see a corpse in your dream, represents an aspect of yourself that has died. Or it may mean that you are unexpressive. You have shut yourself down and are dead inside. -- It seems like to me this dream is trying to get you to deal with your feelings regarding your friend's death. |
