house dream
I had a dream the other night. It was the same dream I've dreamed before, sort of. I was in a large building, a house/apartment/commercial space. It was large and the flooring was weak and missing in places.
I remember thinking that I should understand the dream when I woke up. That it meant I had neglected the foundation of my life somewhere, moved forward too fast, forgotten the building blocks, the beginning, the core of what I wanted to do with my life. I rarely remember my dreams anymore because I don't get enough sleep and don't dream enough! |

Hi Paula, it seems like you've got a great handle on yr dream already, but I just thought I'd offer, well, if not a thought, perhaps a thought-provoking question. If your dream gave you a geographic sense of where you were in the house, whether in the attic (head or intellect) , the basement (unconscious mind) or other assorted living areas, it might give you even more guidance as to where it's been suggested you might want to bolster things somewhat.

Very good thought. I'll have to remember that. I can't remember this last time, but I think this dream will come around again. Last night I had a very interesting dream but I don't remember much except for the silverware (bamboo pattern stainless steel).

house dream
Hmm! odd, something told me to come to this part of the website and here's your post
Your post (oriental reference + metal) reminds me of something I read just last night about feng shui: how adding items of our own elements based on our birth "kua numbers" bolsters chi or facilitates energy in various areas of our lives as symbolized by our homes. Here's the link if you ever wanted to find out what element you "are" in that system: http://fengshui.about.com/od/faq/f/kua_and_element.htm Very quick and easy to figure out btw. |
