Guide how to post chart on this forum
Hi all,
Seems that some of the members are having problem inserting chart here so I decide to give guide how you can insert chart in your post. There are several ways to insert chart but try this one. Go to http://www.imageshack.us (or any other free imagehost you like) and follow the steps as below. First, look at the row where the Browse button is. You can find an option of "Image" and "Url." If you have chart on your computer, select "Image" and click "browse" to upload it. Than click "host it". Click and see picture below. ![]() But if you have chart on your website or other online server, you have to change the option to "url", type in the url of your image and go "host it". Once the file is uploaded, a new page will load as below. Click on image. ![]() In section "Action" click on "Get code for forums" After you copy that text , paste it in your post! And beleive me, this is sure way that you will get faster response to your post! Greetings, Goca http://www.astrosport07.webs.com http://fensi88.livejournal.com/ |

RE: Guide how to post chart on this forum
Gocca, very kind of you to post all of this information. However, my request is that folks post their actual chart data. if you don't want to post the location, for some reason, post the long and lat. and general vicinity if you can. With chart data, including ascendant and moon degrees and sign, anyone can run the chart on their own computer. Some of what I look at isn't on the charts folks post from an online chart making website. I need the chart data to do it. I can pull up the thumb nail you post, but it's hard to read chart data, and it ends up taking more time, and I often get kicked off the website entirely once I've gone to a thumbnail.
A thumbnail is better than nothing but I sure appreciate it when folks post the data! thanks! |
