Stopwatch Horary Charts - Guidelines for participation
To discuss a chart on this forum, please share at front of post:
CHART DETAILS: Question Asked Date (please write out month) Time and Time zone Location question asked (include country if not in USA) (good to include coordinates if known) Asc (sign and degree very helpful to check for accurate chart before starting) Moon position (again, another way to be certain we are all looking at same chart) Give BACKGROUND of question, and feel free to ask questions of the person asking you, the astrologer, a question. This can help define timing of an answer, or help to identify who might get what planet in the chart. The time the astrologer understands the question is the time to cast the chart. WHO asked the question is very important. Define WHO and their relationship to you, the posting party. ETHICS: There are some charts that I might delete from the forum due to ethical issues. Please think about the chart you are sharing and do not share something that is more prying or meddling into the life of another person than anything else. It's not appropriate and I don't want to have to bump your chart off the forum. Feel free to email me and ask, if you're not sure. Please be willing to take the chart as far as you can with what you know. If you are a total beginner and have NO idea where to start, tell me and I will try to give you some idea of where to start. The vocabulary of traditional horary astrology is a bit cumbersome, so don't get discouraged with what you don't know. If you are teachable, and willing to learn, it will open up for you. I think this is an area of astrology that there will always be alot to learn, no matter what level you are at. There are alot of very good websites out there to learn horary astrology. I envision making this forum a place to try your hand at reading a horary chart you have cast yourself, and then sharing discussion on the interpretation. Lastly, Please, please please post all answers as they come up. Doesn't matter if I/we were right or wrong, please post the answers with the time the answer became known, the lost object was found, etc. We can all learn from the charts we get wrong. Don't expect magic because Horary astrology is alot of hard work to learn, but it is also so beautifully simple sometimes! Fine tuning accuracy in reading a horary chart is perhaps a major goal of mine right now, and this forum offers me an opportunity to work on that. I confess up front that I am still quite GREEN, as in NEW in this area and I know there are folks out there with ALOT more experience and knowledge than I. But, I will share what I know and learn with you! I did recently earn my certificate in horary astrology with Branka and that helped me tremendously. I have also been an active member of The Real Astrology Forum on Yahoo and also Angelicus Merlin on Yahoo since 2005. Both are great forums for learning and sharing horary. Alot of what I know I learned on those forums. I plan to remain a member of those forums as long as they exist because they deepen my understanding of astrology daily. |
