ChatBox
The IRC chat room wasn't getting much use (at least not that I could tell). So I replaced it with another handy modification called ChatBox. Try it out using the "ChatBox" link at the top of the page, and let me know what you think.

I can get into the Chat Box... which IMO gives it a great advantage over the Chat Room...

Hi Silviam-- you probably just need to log in again. I had the same thing happen to me. I just clicked the link at the top of the page to log in again and it worked fine. I don't know why that happens, but at least it's an easy fix.
