Progressed Moon
Share your Progressed Moon experiences here!

What sign (and transits?) when you got married, divorced, (if you were unfortunate enough!) seriously injured, pregnant, etc... Are there any correlations?

My Progressed Moon was in Pisces (square Uranus) when my parents split up, and it was in Sagittarius (conjunct Uranus) when my brother was born. (My brother's Progressed Moon was in Taurus (conjunct Jupiter and square natal Moon with a 4 degreeish orb) when my parents split up - it was my Mum who initiated it.)

My progressed Moon is in Cancer at the moment, does anyone have any suggestions (from experience) as to what Leo will bring? Does Progressed Moon in Cancer make everyone broody?!

Not in my case - well, not yet! My progressed Moon moved into Cancer on 13 December 2005. The only time in my life that I felt broody was in the late 1990s when my Moon was in Pisces, then again when my Moon was in Taurus. OK, so these are both feminine signs, but I didn't feel broody when she was in Capricorn or Scorpio. One could argue that the Moon is debilitated here, and the previous feminine sign of Virgo is considered "barren" in medieval astrology - so the last time my progressed Moon was in a fertile feminine sign (other than my two broody periods in Taurus and Pisces) was indeed when she was last in Cancer. That happened in my first two years at university - I was certainly desperate, and I mean *desperate* to meet Mr. Right during that period, though not broody in the sense of thinking it would be nice to be a father (something I definitely didn't want at 18!). Since my Moon has only just moved into Cancer by progression, it may be too early to say! I'll let you know... Smile

Well... with my P Moon in Aries, I got in the habit of wearing men's watches. Big clunky ones with Batman on them and stuff.

When my moon moved to Taurus, I turned into a total girl. Started shopping at anthropologie and stuff, lol. Smile Gettin' manicures. It was a very dramatic shift. It's about 18 mos later now and I don't even know where those watchs are. And I had six or eight them... ebay! Big Grin

When my progressed moon moved into aries - I cut off all of my hair (natural corkscrew curls down to my shoulders) and embraced a very andro look. When my progressed moon moved into cancer - I definitely acquired a much more femmey look. It entered Cancer a few years ago - it's almost out and I can't wait...the emotional stuff doesn't sit well with a natal Gemini moon! Looking back at my progressed Pisces moon - I went kinda bonkers depressed...so i'm not surprised that Cancer moon has corresponded with emotional overload and moodiness -which I can't stand. My hope is that Leo burns that emotional fog right off.

No sense in being pessimistic. It wouldn't work anyway.

Progressed Moon
First split up with long-term boyfriend, progressed Moon conjunct natal Neptune. When we got back together, progressed Moon was directly opposed natal NN, as well as tr. NN Smile When he died, my progressed Moon 13 Capricorn, trine both my natal Uranus (12 Virgo) and Pluto (14 Virgo). No clue what that should be telling me.

Death of Mother: progressed Moon conjunct natal Neptune.

Parents separation: progressed Moon conjunct natal Mercury - also part of a progressed four planet stellium in the 10th and my progressed MC was also conjunct natal Mercury.

Right now my progressed Moon is at 6 Pisces - just shy of my natal Saturn. Progressed Saturn is at 14 Pisces, just shy of my natal Chiron. Progressed Chiron is at 21 Pisces, just past my natal Venus. These progressions have left a rather serious mark on me the past few months. Tears flow more readily, and not just for myself but for humanity as well. I'm quieter and more withdrawn (and, for a quiet person, that's sayings lots!); I'm studying French, re-learning astrology (this started when progressed Moon entered Aquarius), heavily involved in politics (impeach Bush!) and education.

The year my progressed Moon was exactly square my Sun was the year I spent wanting to Run Away! To go explore, chase the horizons, sail the seven seas... progressed Moon in Sag square 9th house Sun. Never went anywhere that year Smile

When my progressed Moon went into Capricorn, I landed the job I have now. It was widely trine my 11th house Jupiter and 3 house stellium.

My progressed Moon hit 0 Aquarius on February 21, 2003 and started squaring my natal Neptune and Jupiter and opposing my progressed ASC in Leo. Grand Cross! This is when the water problems started in the house I moved into in March of 2004! It was on the plumbers reports, which came out at the trial, proving there had been an undisclosed water issue before I moved in; because of those reports, I won my case to have my deposit and six months of rent and cleaning costs paid to me. I guessing I'll never forget when my progressed Moon hit 0 Aquarius Smile

By the time I was moving to where I live now, progressed Moon was coming to trine my natal NN. By the time I moved, progressed Moon was at 26 Aquarius and out of orb with most everything in my chart (semi-sextile Sun).

Off topic, but I thought it was interesting - checking other charts - my paternal Grandmother died on 31 December 2005. Her progressed Sun was conjunct her natal Pluto; her progressed Pluto had just passed her natal Pluto; her progressed Moon was at 1 Gemini - exactly trine her natal Moon at 1 Aquarius.

Funny.. I was bartering with a Mary Kay lady while my p Moon was in Libra.. Now in Scorpio, no more Mary Kay! But I still use some of the makeup sometimes.

I can't say I'm doing anything especially scorpio-like now, although I did get really bored with my long hair and cut it much shorter. Not boy-short (that was years ago in 1993 when p Moon entered Gemini and uuugh I don't want to talk about it), but shorter.

Heh, I cut my hair shorter about 14mths ago when p.Moon was in Scorpio, too Molly.... but got it done ultra-short by a non-hairdressing friend one spontaneous afternoon when p.Moon was exactly (within minutes) semi-sextile my natal Uranus in the 1st house, only it was doing so from the 12th in Virgo - one may describe that as an act of 'self-undoing', lol!

Within days of my p.Moon ingressing into Sagittarius late last year, I decided that I will be re-enrolling in university to chip away at my psych degree started many years ago. Big decision for me to return to formal study, but it just feels right somehow... (cause, my p.Sun also entered the 9th house last year also, so it's a bit of a double-whammy!).

My partner moved in with me for the first time as my p.Moon conjoined my p.Uranus which rules the p.4th house... and funnily enough (I just checked), we're planning on getting married next August, and the p.Moon will be conjunct my natal NNode, which happens to share the same degree with his natal Sun. When he moved in with me, his own p.Moon was conjunct his natal Mercury and Jupiter, sextile Uranus and semi-sextile Venus...

Progressed Moon
My Moon just progressed into Taurus for the second time about 3 weeks ago (I have a natal Aries Moon). Being unable to remember the first time around Wink I've been paying attention to my changing moods quite closely. I'm not wanting to travel as much as I usually do - in fact I'm becoming a real stay-at-home type. I used to spend most weekends on the road, zipping around visiting friends. Since my SO is a Sag full of wanderlust, this drives him crazy, to say the least. But he is liking my propensity to cook yummy foods a lot more Big Grin I also just started singing and piano lessons. I've had an interest in that for a while, but never any formal training, so I'm going for it now.

In addition I may be getting some real estate to take care of: my dad is going to be transferred to London area sometime in the next nine months for business. He expects to be there for at least a year, so he and my mother will go to the UK for that period. In the meantime, they asked me to mind their house.

When my Moon was in Aries, I really didn't notice any difference from my normal. Perhaps I was quicker to anger, but not by anything signifigant. But when she was in Pisces in 2003, I was a real meek sort of thing. I didn't speak up for myself (normally something I have no problems with) and tended to take on too much work and go home exhausted every night. Unfortunately I had a boss that took advantage of this and worked me until I quit from sheer exhaustion. I started that job when my p.Moon was at the 29th degree of Aquarius, conjunct my Pisces MC and ended it just about the time it crossed out of my 10th house. Hmm.

Progressed Moon
I checked my Pr. Moon aspects when I started my first serious relationship and the timing couldn't be more exact! Pr. Moon was applying to conjunct natal MC and then move quickly towards a conjunction with natal Venus. A few degrees later, the moon progressed into Libra and all I cared about was being a part of a couple.

For other important relationships, I found with high accuracy Pr. Venus or Mars conjunct natal Moon, or Pr. Sun making a conjunction to natal Venus. The Moon, Natal or Progressed, seemed to always be a factor one way or another, followed by Pr. Venus, Mars and Sun evenly. All the better when several progressions and contacts happened at once.

Now that my Pr. Moon is in Scorpio and I can't get enough of black leather boots with stiletto heels. Wink

OMG!
Penny you got me excited....My PR. Moon is in Sag. It just conjunct Uranus(11th), when I got a job offer from a friend to work in radio.
BUT now you mention pr. Moon conj. Venus..Which is happening March.

Anyone ever had pr. Moon hit natal Saturn?

THEN it hits Mercury...
It should be even more powerful since SR Moon is conj. n. Saturn(then conj. tr. Jupiter)

If anyone can share their experience with Prog, Moon conjunct Pluto, It's happening in my first house (libra) and N. Pluto conjuncts ASC. I would be VERY grateful. I'm having really emotional / depressive (deep sorrow) episodes and wonder if this has happened to anyone else.

There was a thread on that awhile back. This aspect happened to me - during this time, my ex told me he loved me, other than that, nothing major. Oh, actually, thinking back, I also went to FL during that time too and canoed with all these crocodiles or alligators - scared the bloody crap out of me.

Progressed Moon
Great topic, Lunar Scorpion!

I've noticed an interesting pattern in my life when my PR moon aspects my n. uranus. It has to do with committed relationships (uranus rules my 7th and is conjunct my ASC). And, it probably bears mentioning that I have a natal uranus/moon square (so whenever PR moon aspects uranus, it also aspects my moon.)

OK, so first, when PR moon conjuncted uranus -- I broke up with my longtime bf after much conflict. I was convinced I just wasn't the right person for him. We started seeing other people briefly but he "wooed" me back and we got married the following year.

Fast forward about 7 yrs., PR moon squared uranus -- we divorced. Then I met and married another man within a period of 3 yrs.

With PR moon opposing uranus -- I started to feel I'd made a mistake and that my new husband wasn't right for me (he didn't agree). I remember feeling an overwhelming urge to be free from him.

Then when PR moon squared uranus, I asked for a divorce & we separated (he's since remarried and by all reports is very happy).

I'm in a committed relationship now, living with my BF and very happy going on 6 yrs. already. PR. moon will conjunct my uranus in August. I feel I've come to such a greater understanding of myself as a person, and my needs in a relationship, so I don't see us splitting up. I'm sure it will bring a change of some kind, but with all the other PR moon/uranus I could feel the growing angst. Hmmm, not sure what this will bring!

Progressed Moon
When my progressed moon was in Aries - opposite my natal Uranus in the 7th house - I entered my only really long term (6 years) relationship. It was almost like - I discovered a way to be independant and really be myself within a relationship. Although we did have a rocky - "Will we or won't we break up" beginning...basically, until my lunar energy settled down into Taurus.

No sense in being pessimistic. It wouldn't work anyway.

Progressed Moon
Just another progressed Moon observation... mine is at 2* Sag, and I've recently taken up running. Normally I am a very typical lazy Taurean, so this is lovely and new for me (hope it lasts beyond the next 2.5yrs), and the other thing I've become conscious of is that I love reading travel narratives and memoirs. Someone bought me one for Christmas, and I just had to add it to my favourite reading genre (well-researched historical fiction). I read one a few years ago (which actually belonged to my Moon in Sag brother, funnily enough), and I absolutely loved it but didn't register that that might be a genre to keep reading, this time round as my p.Moon was newly in Sag, it has registered! Natally, I have the Sag on the third house cusp - would that indicate preferred reading material, I wonder... I've always enjoyed reading expansive stuff on spirituality, religion, etc.

Anyway, that's all for now...

Progressed Moon
Doing a bit of thread resurrection - I am one month away from my progressed moon in Cancer moving into Leo. It will be QUITE a relief - it is also occuring a couple days after I move into my new home.

The whole pr. moon in Cancer phase saw me trying to sort out the business of splitting with my former partner who I was with from ages 22 to 28. There were several false starts, several times when I said, "Well, thank heavens I've gotten over her" only to find that I had done no such thing.

It was also a time when my finances were turned upside down and backwards, due to the effects of the separation, and to clerical errors, etc. which I am still in the lengthy process of resolving. (My progressed moon is conjunct natal saturn right now, separating - exactly conj. progressed Saturn).

I do honestly believe that this will be something of a new era dawning for me - and as my personal progressed new moon approaches - I feel that many things that were holding my life in check will finally resolve.

As always - would love to hear other peoples' stories on lunar progressions and personal prog. new moons!

Blessed be!

Progressed Moon
I currently have the Progressed Moon in Sagittarius, but I have to say, the Progressed Moon in Scorpio were some of the most difficult years of my life! My emotions were intense!! I also, frustratingly, had the Progressed Sun, AC, Mercury and Mars in Cancer! So, it was a lot of water for me to deal with. When the Moon progressed into Sag I felt like an emotional load had lifted off my shoulders and I found myself having a lot more fun, going out more, that sort of thing.

Progressed Moon
My progressed moon is in Cap, next week at critical Cap 13. And with my nat Saturn- trans Saturn opposition (both squaring my natal Venus), I'm really feeling it! I'm working hard, trying to get an in-depth book proposal off the ground and do a day job at the same time.

It all feels like a like of stress, today I feel like screaming a bit. Not to mention feeling a bit unloved and unloveable. But there's also a feeling that this is totally necessary, a gearing up of sorts perhaps towards something better, like I have to do it for personal evolution's sake.

Progressed Moon
intresting thread my progressed moon is in the 8th house right now and it has definitely not been the easiest time i am overwhelmed alot easier then normal and sensitive! I can relate alot to what Keishin and others on here have said about this pisces progression! Me and my ex husband are currently going to court for assets (8th house issues) and i have found myself to be alot more succeptable to others influence then in the past (my natal moon is in Aries) also financially this has not been the easiest time for me! it seems like no matter how hard i work there is always some debt or expense that comes up. my progressed moon is currently at 23* pisces and as it moves closer to Aries i have noticed that things are getting easier and lighter..

Looking back on my prog. moon in the past i can see that i got pregnant with my son, while my progressed moon was in the 5th house(children) and in capricorn(responsibility) but i also had alot of fun during that time..while my moon was prog in aquarius most recently i was very independent! got alot more serious about studying astrology and learned how to express myself in an individual way.. For now im counting the days till my progressed moon moves back into my natal aries! Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get through this? i understand sacrifice and that i may have to give something up, and i have been using this energy to read and meditate and become more spiritual..i think it being in the 8th house is whats causing more of the difficulties..if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions it would be appreciated!

Death of mother: progressed Moon in Cancer in natal 7th house, square natal Uranus in 10th house, opposite natal Venus in 1st house, trine Mars in natal 4th house
Also time of injuries - we were in a car accident and I spent 2 months in hospital and 6 months on crutches

Death of father: progressed Moon 8 degrees Capricorn in natal 1st house, cnj Asc (3 deg Cap) and cnj POF (7 deg Cap); square natal Pluto and natal Uranus in 10th house

* Progressed Moon square natal Uranus both death of mother and father.

Move to the flat I live in now (been here for over 6 years): progressed Moon 29 Aquarius in natal 3rd house; sextile natal Moon and Sun

When I started my only really long-term job (was in the job for 6 years): Progressed Moon 23 Cap, cnj natal Venus in 1st house, square natal Uranus

My progressed Moon is about to move into Gemini and cnj my natal Saturn. While it's been in Taurus I've become a lot more feminine in the way I dress.
Now prog Moon moving into Gemini in natal 6th house.

Jupiter transiting 5th house; transiting Saturn square Venus

Progressed Moon
Glad this was brought back up - I was wondering why I felt way more heavy and when I saw this thought maybe I'd lost track of time and p-Moon had moved to Capricorn. Nope - it squared Pluto. And next, Uranus. Going from being heavy, stagnant, depressed to anxious?

I was pleased to see a bunch of good progressions too...like Merc is finally finally finally approaching the ascendant, after being retro in the 12th forever.

Venus is approaching a trine to Neptune, NN and MC will come together (not sure if that's good, but it's something).

Thumbs Up RE: Progressed Moon
Unless the time of birth is very accurately known, progressing the ascendant and midheaven can be disregarded. Aspects formed by the progressed ascendant suggest significant developments in self-centred interests, personal ambitions and health. Progressed midheaven suggests developments in career and business interests.

RE: Progressed Moon
wow, okay so for me i have progressed moon at 29'54 cancer, progressed jupiter at 29'28 cancer and progressed DC at 29'01 cancer. it has been QUITE the month!! i feel quite blessed to have had this triple conjunction, although ironically enough me and my partner who i care for very deeply have just officially split up tonight after a very confusing year of push-pull and emotional confusion between us. he has the most insane series of t-squares in his progressed chart (to a huge stellium on his natal NN) at this time which i do not feel to be irrelevant to this. as well his progressed moon is separating from my natal pluto by one degree. i do feel we will most likely reunite but under a completely different set of 'terms', if you will. he is a natal capricorn moon has way too much control over his emotions, and not in a good way. my progressed moon opposing his the last few months most likely exacerbated this i would think?!

but yeah if anyone has insights on this triple conjunction let me know! i have felt quite sad and emotional and yearny for the last year and a half, it's true and am extremely excited for it to enter leo in two days!

interestingly this is what everyone in their progressed cancer moons said but no one said what leo is like? hey guys, are you still there? would love to know how it's been going for you!

oh and of course i have to mention the positives of having progressed moon in cancer:

this last month i came to a very very deep understanding of my feminine energy and my love nature. i have natal moon in the 4th house and my chart ruler is jupiter, so i feel the conjunction to progressed jupiter and progressed DC assisted this.

also, all of a sudden out of nowhere as my progressed moon entered the anaretic degree, the FULLEST, if you will, and joined jupiter, my breasts grew about two cup sizes, no joke! and i didn't gain any other weight. i feel this has to be cancer (breasts) conjoining jupiter at an anaretic degree!
