Lecture POSTPONED indefinitely (lost my hard drive)

Hi All--

I thought Chris's lecture was fantastic, and it really got me thinking how we can make these meet-ups a regular feature here at Node-o-rama.

You're invited to meet up with me for a free lecture on September 16. I will give this talk twice to try to accommodate all time zones. Times will be Thursday Sept. 16 (postponed to Sept 23), 2:00 p.m. ET, and 9:00 p.m. ET, which should accommodate most of us in the U.S. and Europe, and maybe Australia too? If I have missed anyone, let me know and I'll add another time if there's enough interest.

The talk will cover one of the most mysterious and intriguing features in the birth chart-- the Nodes. I'll review the mythology around them, and we'll take a look at, and maybe even make some sense of, the seemingly huge disparity between the Vedic and Western view of the Nodes. I'll cover how to read the Nodes in the chart, and how to read a planet conjunct or square the Nodes. I'll open the floor to discussion and questions at the end.

If you want to attend, you'll need the Yahoo Messenger software. To get it, visit http://www.yahoo.com , click on "Messenger" up at the top of the page, and follow the simple instructions to download and install it. You will need to have a computer with a sound card. It is not necessary for you to have a microphone, you can participate in the discussion via the chat window. Mac-heads, unfortunately the Mac version of YM does not support voice chat.

Usually all that's required to enable voice chat in YM is to go into a chat room and click on the little microphone icon. Sometimes a bit more is necessary, so it may be worth the time to test it out first in one of the many public chat rooms.

Then add me to your list and request for me to add you--- my yahoo id is mollysnorthnode. Until we find a better way to meet up, we will need to be hooked up ahead of time so I can pull you into the chat room.

And please let me know when you plan to attend, so I'll know when to expect you.

Hi folks-- I need to postpone until the 23rd. We have been doing work in my office, refinishing floor and painting, and it has taken longer than expected.

Please let me know if you plan to be at the chat. If there's little or no interest, I won't bother doing these in the future.
